Pride Film Screening: BREAKFAST WITH SCOT
For this special pride week film screening, the Lebovic Centre will be presenting BREAKFAST WITH SCOT, starring Tom Cavanagh, Ben Shenkman and Noah Bernett; a film based on a novel of the same title by Michael Downing.
BREAKFAST WITH SCOT is a touching comedy that tells the story of a very 'straight' gay couple, Eric (TomCavanagh), an ex-NHL hockey player-turned-sportscaster and Sam (Ben Shenkman), a lawyer, who end up with temporary custody of recently orphaned Scot, (Noah Bernett) an 11-year-old boy who turns out to be a total sissy.
Price of admission to this movie screening will be $7.50, with tickets sold at the door.
Also showing: THE YOUNG VICTORIA
Earlier in the evening, at 7pm, the Lebovic Centre will also be screening THE YOUNG VICTORIA, a film based around the accession to the throne and early reign of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom, and her marriage to Prince Albert.
This film received three 2010 Academy Awards nominations for Best Art Direction, Makeup, and won the award for Costume Design. Emily Blunt received a 2010 Golden Globe nomination for Best Dramatic Actress.At the 2010 BAFTA Awards, The Young Victoria won the awards for Best Costume Design and Best Makeup and Hair.

The Lebovic Centre for Arts and Entertainment at Nineteen on the Park is Whitchurch-Stouffville's new multifaceted arts, culture and entertainment centre located in the heart of downtown Stouffville.
Created by the restoration and redevelopment of one of the Town's most historic landmarks, Nineteen on the Park is a flexible programming space that accommodates a variety of community-based arts and culture programming.
How To Get There
By car By car: Take highway 404 to Stouffville Road and turn east towards Stouffville. On reaching Stouffville town centre, turn right into Market St and then first left into the parking lot behind the theatre. (See map below).
